We believe art is an elemental channel for social justice, stewardship, and advocacy for creating real and lasting change in our community and communities across the world.

Art & Public Service Residency

The Public Service Artists Guild hosts a 6 week residency program that engages artists in public service art projects that enhance/strengthen their professional artistic practice. Residents frame their contemporary art practice within a context relevant to the general public.

Utilizing PSAG's network of community leaders and artists, members are connected with opportunities within New York City Public Schools, Public Parks, and New York City Housing Authority; participating in projects such as mural painting to workshops in public schools.
